Day 1 - Three Pieces of Classical Music Everyone Should Hear

Updated: Apr 15, 2020

Today our Classical Music Programmer James Waters recommends the following tracks to lift the spirit and warm the soul:

Three life enhancing tracks

1. Carlos Kleiber’s recording of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony is one of the greatest recordings of all time, bursting with energy and optimism

2. Schubert’s C major Quintet is perhaps the greatest piece of chamber music of all

3. Mozart’s ‘Jupiter’ symphony conducted by Charles Mackerras is what I would choose if I had 5 minutes before the end of the world!
