Day 56 - Sea Wall starring Andrew Scott (the vicar in Fleabag)
At just over 30 minutes long, this is an astonishing play about loss in equally astonishing compact form. Extraordinary both as performance and as a piece of writing, I cannot recommend it more highly to you.
Watch it when you have quiet and time to focus - it's simple and demands your entire attention.
The piece was originally performed by Scott 12 years ago at the Bush Theatre, directed by George Perrin – it was later revived in 2018 at the Old Vic London where it formed part of the venue's 200th-anniversary celebrations.
The filmed performance is directed by Stephens and Andrew Porter.
