From the Royal Opera, a stunning duet of pieces, available on demand. Combining both opera and dance, the works explore crises of femininity and masculinity and the destructive nature of fame and social media.
The Seven Deadly Sins tells of a woman's public and private reactions to her growing fame. These responses are told through a dancer (Anna 2) and singer (Anna 1) respectively. As they travel through different cities and their fame grows, we see Anna 1 struggle with the price of fame and social media as Anna 2 puts on a brave face for the public.
