Day 237 - Kris Drever: Happed In Mist

From our No Man's Land concert two years ago, Kris Drever performs Michael Marra's much-loved Happed In Mist. The song is inspired by the character Ewan Tavendale from Lewis Grassic Gibbon's classic Scottish novel, Sunset Song. No Man's Land also featured Blue Rose Code, Raghu Dixit, ESKA, Declan O'Rourke and Karine Polwart.

Kris Drever is a Glasgow based, Orkney born musician. He has won multiple awards including an incredible 7 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards; two shortlist nominations for Scottish Album of The Year (with his trio Lau) and much acclaim for his solo recordings and concerts, including glowing reviews from The Herald, The Guardian, Mojo and Q Magazine

Drever’s voice and guitar form an integral part of the backbone of today’s contemporary roots and folk scene. Hugely admired as a solo artist and collaborator, he is a phenomenal and prolific artist.
