Day 233 - Carl Barat, Karsh Kale, Papon: The Minstrel's Tale
An epic collaborative track filmed for Dewar's whisky in and around Kenmore including the sumptuous gilded splendour of Taymouth Castle in 2012. The song was composed and performed by Carl Barat of The Libertines, US artist Karsh Kale and Indian singer Papon. It features a blend of English, Assamese and Hindi lyrics and Perthshire's own Ross Ainslie guesting on pipes.

The first season featured total ten episodes. The first season was directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, ad-filmmaker and frontman of Mumbai Hardcoreband, Scribe. The show is hosted byactor-singer Monica Dogra. The Theme music of The Dewarists was given by Raghu Dixit.
As the culmination of Season Two, The Minstrel’s Tale was filmed in and around Aberfeldy, the home of Dewar’s principal distillery, the first location outside India.
